Based in Ireland, we help athletes navigate the pathway to opportunities in the United States, connecting players with high schools, prep programmes, junior colleges and four-year colleges that match their ability, academics and long-term goals.
We understand that recruitment is about more than simply sending out highlights. It is about positioning each player properly, identifying the right level and environment, building genuine relationships with coaches, and understanding the academic, eligibility and visa requirements involved in making the move overseas.

Founder, Emerald Sports Recruitment
Emerald Sports Recruitment was created with a simple goal: to give ambitious basketball players a clear, structured pathway to opportunities in the United States.
Jack brings together his basketball background, understanding of the recruitment landscape and an extensive network of coaches and programmes across the US to help make that pathway possible.
With a deep understanding of both the European and US basketball landscapes, Jack works closely with players and families throughout every stage of the recruiting process. He is committed to being honest with players about where they stand, what opportunities make sense for them, and what they need to do to take the next step.
Having seen first-hand how difficult the US pathway can be to navigate, Jack founded Emerald Sports Recruitment to give players and families knowledgeable, transparent and personalised guidance throughout the process.
The mission is never just about finding somewhere to go. It is about finding the right environment for each individual player to develop as an athlete, continue their education and build towards their long-term goals.
